Mr. D’s Art Room Blog:4/6/23

As we get closer to the end of the year the time seems to fly by faster and faster and faster like the boat ride in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory from 1971.  We are a week out from the April break and some much needed time off.  I hope everyone gets a chance to rest and recover. 

 Our HPS showcase 2023 is coming up right after break. .  There will be art from all the schools in town in the cafeteria from 6-8 on April 27, 2023.  The Portfolio students show will also be open that night in RM 103 which we will have transformed into a gallery.  The advanced student’s show will be up from Tuesday until that Friday morning.  It will be amazing work and a great night.  

 

In other news we have received the watercolor supplies from the PT. Thank you again PTO and the advanced students have already had a demo and several of them are using them as we move forward this year.
