Mr D’s Art Room Blog: 2/17/2023 Well as the second semester begins so do new classes here in the Art Room. Portfolio is the only holdover from last semester and they are going strong. Second semester is a time for new beginnings. In Portfolio: the students have received a series of limitations that are meant to push them past what they are comfortable with. Some are working on series that involve a lot of planning, some have large work, some have to finish a single work before they can start another one. All these limitations came from conversations we had and notes I took. Drawing and Painting 2: is working on live figure drawing where each student is taking turns being the model, this will lead to an assignment where they use their figure drawing skills to create a comic book cover.
